1. Install & Connect

Install from Google Workspace Marketplace. Generate an API key from your Redactli dashboard and connect.

2. Select Columns

Open the Redactli sidebar. Check the boxes for columns containing PII. Smart detection suggests common patterns.

3. One-Click Protect

Click "Anonymize → New Sheet". Creates a new sheet with encrypted tokens. Original stays untouched.

4. Share Safely

Use the anonymized sheet with confidence. Share with contractors, upload to AI tools, or export for analysis.

Subscribe to Starter or Pro

The Google Sheets™ add-on requires a paid subscription. Starter ($9/mo): 100 files/month, 5K rows. Pro ($29/mo): 500 files/month, 50K rows.

Install the Add-on

Visit the Google Workspace Marketplace and search for "Redactli". Click "Install" and authorize the required permissions.

Required permissions: Read and modify spreadsheets, connect to external service

Generate API Key

Go to your Redactli Dashboard → API Keys. Click "Generate New Key" and copy it (shown only once).

Connect & Start Protecting

In Google Sheets™, go to Extensions → Redactli → Open Redactli. Paste your API key in the settings. You're ready to anonymize!

Yes. Your API key is stored encrypted in Google's Properties Service (the same system Google uses for add-on settings). It's never exposed to other users or stored in your spreadsheet. You can revoke keys anytime from your Redactli dashboard.
